Stein Torleif Bjella regained success in Norway with his solo album Heidersmenn. After two successful albums with his former band Tolv Volt and after some quiet years in his hometown Ål, he quickly became the critic's favorite with his stripped-down organic sound and sharp lyrics in Norwegian. Besides being a really nice guy (we studied together in Oslo), his music is nicely toned down and full of detail. Here he's playing a song on the beautiful island of Træna. Well worth a listen!
